Record-breaking KM Big Quiz

Take part in Kent's ultimate brain challenge

KM Big Quiz events are an excellent way to raise the profile of your organisation and can be used to provide a fun evening for staff or corporate clients.

Four charity quiz nights are held each year with the top two teams from each event invited to the county final held in December. Over the year Big Quiz events raise £30,000 for a range of charities. If you are keen to book a table please remember each team should have eight people.

The Big Quiz timetable is as follows:

March - Canterbury; June - Maidstone;  October - Ashford;  November - Medway.

Team building challenge

Extra rewards available

If four or more teams from your organisation enter a Big Quiz heat we will provide a special shield and prize to reward your top placed team. These teams can be made up of staff and their partners or even your clients.

The shield will be named after your organisation or a particular charity you are trying to promote. For example at the Canterbury Big Quiz we present the Coombs Sports and Social Club Shield as four teams of staff from Coombs Construction take part. At the Maidstone Big Quiz we present the Edwards Harvey PR Shield to the top placed staff or client team from the public relations firm.

Raise your organisation's profile

There are a number of inexpensive ways you can raise the profile of your organisation through support of these charity events:

Sponsor one of the six quiz rounds by making a donation to the event's charity pot. Prices vary but typically this costs around £100. A representative of each sponsor is invited to a media photocall to launch events.

Sponsor trophies for an event. This can cost around £250. Once again this generates publicity.

Major sponsor funding. Cost of venue or hire of tables and chairs for event. This costs around £500. To thank you your logo will be added to the table booking form that appears in the local KM Group newspaper as part of the promotion for the event.

Wine sponsor. Big Quiz events require around 14 dozen bottles of wine to ensure every guest receives a complimentary glass with spare bottles given away as prizes to the top placed teams. Wine sponsors can either donate the wine or funds to pay for this. To thank you your logo will be added to the table booking form that appears in the local KM Group newspaper as part of the promotion for the event. A story will also be published to promote your involvement.

Team and raffle prizes are always welcome. Donating eight items that can be presented to a top placed team on the night is an excellent way to raise your profile in the community.
